Which office is the biggest in Ireland?
3 January, 2020 08:14:31 The Irish government has revealed that it has the largest number of office buildings in the European Union, with more than 1,500.
The report also showed that the number of staff in the Irish Ministry of Defence is 2,838, down from 3,037 last year.
The Office of the Taoiseach also reported an 8 per cent increase in the number a day of work for workers in the Defence Forces, but this was down to the number from last year, and is expected to drop again this year.
It also showed the number in the Public Service has risen by 6 per cent to 1,983, a 1 per cent rise from the previous year.
In terms of the number working in a particular sector, the Public Administration and Government Administration, or PA&G, has risen from 9,913 to 9,989.
The State has also reported the highest number of people working in the Office of Social Protection, at 1,716.
However, it reported that the Government is not seeing an increase in number of those in the public sector.
The Government said the number had risen to 1.5 million, up 1 per and a half per cent on last year’s figures.
The Department of Finance reported that while the number has increased, it is still down from last years figures.
The number of public sector employees in the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries has increased from 1,824 to 1) 1,906.
The number of Public Sector workers in Health is also rising by more than a quarter, from 981 to 1 1,071.
The department of agriculture and fisheries has reported an increase of nearly a third in the total number of employees working in its offices, from 631 to 8,085.
The department of social protection also reported a rise in the amount of work they did.
The Public Administration has also recorded a rise of almost a third, from 717 to 851.
The numbers for the Department for Agriculture and Food have also risen by more the total from 865 to 1 865.
The Minister for Agriculture has reported that more people are working in his department’s offices, up by a quarter.
He said the increase was due to the increased number of jobs created and the higher quality of work.
